7 Steps to the Pool of Your Dreams
We create the oasis of your dreams in 7 simple steps.
- Create a solid foundation: The first step after the design process involves excavating your property. During this process, we treat your home with respect. We won’t leave trash, and we’ll work with you every step of the way so you know what to expect. We will form the beaches, seating areas and plot out the landscaping.
- Layer 1: Our first layer of geo-textile material is placed over the area we excavated. This will provide extra protection for the liner (which is put down in the next step).
- Layer 2: The second layer is a waterproof ethylene propylene diene monomer liner that we install on top of layer 1. This is a very stretchy, elastic material that fits perfectly over the bottom of your pool. It moves with the ground and is one of the things that makes our pools perfect for areas that aren’t completely flat.
- Layer 3: We place a structural netting material over layers 1 and 2.
- Layer 4: This is the big one! We spread a structural paving rough layer over the entire surface area of your pool by hand. This is a mixture of natural granulated quartz and non-toxic resin.
- Layer 5: Another net! This goes over the rough layer.
- Layer 6: This is another layer made from granulated stone and non-toxic resins. This is, once again, spread over the entire surface by hand.
- Layer 7: After a light sanding, we place a final layer of antimocrobial resin over the surface of the pool.
